When Does Menstruation Begin After Delivery?

I delivered my stillborn baby 10 weeks ago. I bled for 1 week then slowed down to hardly anything for another 2 weeks. I then got my normal period 3 weeks after that. I was expecting my 2nd period last week but instead I got what u assume was s period but it was brown and stringy. Is this normal and should I consider it a period?

Hi

After delivering a baby periods can be quite irregular. sometimes they can come after 3 weeks and then take a few months to regularise. So there is nothing to worry about. Just remember after having a period you can conceive with unprotected sex.

Let me know if you have any other queries.
Thanks
