When Is Labor Induced In Case Of SVT During Pregnancy?
I have SVT and am 25 weeks pregnant. I do not live close to any hospitals with cardiologists on call, so they want me to travel a couple hours away to a bigger hospital to deliver. Due to the recurrent and intense nature of my previous SVT attacks they highly suggest I have a cardiologist nearby during delivery in case something happens. My question is, if they want me to deliver at a hospital a couple hours away they must have to induce my labor... when would they likely induce me? At 39 weeks or so?
hi healthcare magic user, if you want to induce labor it needs cervical assessment and pelvic assessment. after 38weeks once baby acheives complete maturity then you can induce labor provided adequate pelvis for size of the baby ,proper presentation and position of the baby. onset of the labor pains after induction depends upon Bishop score and whether you are primigravida or multiparous.
