When Is The Right Time To Check For Pregnancy?

Hi im 28 trying to get pregnant. v started having unprotected sex from last month.i did a HPT but it was negative. My period is due on 6th may but i did the test on 4th may. What do you think...is this velocit HPK reliable?? or should i wait to c if i miss d periods and try again?? after how many days should i try the test

Welcome to HCM,
I read your query and i appreciate your concern regarding this issue.
As per details your not overdue with your cycle yet so it is not the right time to do pregnancy test.
I would advise you to wait for 7-10 days if you do not get your periods then go for pregnancy test it gives result after a week of overdue mostly.
It is less likely to give false positive or false negative results.
Even then if you are really concern about your pregnancy then go for Serum Beta HCG Test it is confirmatory for pregnancy and give results within few days of conception or you can go for Pelvic ultrasound to rule out pregnancy.
