When Is The Right Time To Take Pregnancy Test If Spotting And Having Pregnancy Symptoms?

i was a day late for my period and when it started i was light and a different color. it was not normal for me. i have been having a few symptoms of pregnancy. it has been for days since my period started and right now i am just spotting. what could be the reason for this and if i am pregnant when would be the best time to take a test?

The right time to take a urine pregnancy test is from the time you usually get periods.So you can do it now.Use early morning 1st urine sample for that.That is more sensitive for the test.If you get a negative then repeat after 3 days again.If still negative then you should undergo a transvaginal ultrasound examination to find out the status of uterus.You should approach a gynecologist for that.Hope this may help you.
