When It Start Bleeding After Taking Norethisterone?
Hi, I have been prescribed Norethisterone for 7 days to induce bleeding so that I can start my IVF treatment. I have finished my course of Northisterone two days ago and still no bleeding or any symptoms that I would normally get when approaching my period. How long is it expected for my bleed to start?
Hello dear Understand your concern Bleeding will come in 3-5 days after the stopping the noretisterone. It should be taken under the advice of gynecologist and if bleeding will not come after 7 days then in some case high dose of medroxyprogesterone may be needed to induce the bleeding. But I think you had took pill regular under the advice of gynecologist and your menstruation will be come in next 2-3 days. Do not worry and take healthy diet, regular exercise like walking and yoga and take fruits like orange, papaya. Hope this may help you Best regards Dr. Sagar
