When Must I Do A Pregnancy Test Due To Delayed Periods Despite Taking An Emergency Contraceptive Pill Post Intercourse?
Hi..on 5th october I took ECP right after having sex. But there are no signs of period till now. My normal period is expected to be on 26th october. I am scared to get pregnant while I really dont want..should I go for pregnancy test before 26th or wait till 26th october.

Hi,
If the ECP in time (before 72 hours of unprotected sex). You won't be pregnant, with the sex considered in this query. Period after ECP is delayed by 8-10 days than expected date. So if you don't get such delayed period after the RCP. You can check urine pregnancy test after 20 days of ECP (A fresh pregnancy expected after postponed ovulation because of pills).
