When Should I Take Tablets To Postpone Periods For 10 Days And In What Dosage?

Hi! I want to postpone my periods from 10th Feb to 20th Feb 2014 as there is a wedding in family. My LMP was on Jan 12,2014 lasted upto 19th Jan 2014 (8days) and my avg cycle is 29 days. On What date is my next expected period?
I want to prepone my periods is it possible now? If not, then I want to postpone my periods. If I have to postpone, then by when should I start taking the tablets ( keeping in mind my expected dates for period in Feb), in what dosage and for howmany days?

Hello,

YES, you can postpone your period for several days. For that, you have to take Norethisterone pill (5 mg) twice daily 3 days prior to period due date and continue as long as you want (max 7 to 10 days).

You will get withdrawal bleeding like period within 5 to 7 days of stopping the pill. Next period may be delayed due to hormonal imbalance.
