When Should Lisinopril, Clonidine And Atorvastatin Be Taken After Taking Metronidazole?
Yes I now take metronidazole 500 mg & wondering how long after taking this drug can I take my regular medicines I take at night lisinopril and clonidine. Also I will be taking ciprofloxacin 500 mg in couple of hours and I take atoravastatin at night as well wanting to know how long to wait to take this medication as well. Thank you kindly. Cindy Curb
Taking Metronidazole and Ciprofloxacin with Atorvastatin is not recommended. In my patients I usually suggest stopping Atorvastatin until the antibiotic treatment is no longer needed. Once the treatment is over, you can resume Atorvastatin starting from the next day.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
