When Should Oxcarbazepine For Seizures Be Administered After Missing A Dose?
My daughter miss a dose of her sons meds (Oxcarbazepine) and he has seizures. he normally take the meds araound 7:30am and he missedthat dose. I gave him the dosehe missed at 7:30 @ 1:30PM. HOW SOON CAN I GIVE HIM THE Second dose which he takes @ 7:30pm

While it is advisable to take the medication in the fixed hours there are bound to be episodes of missing a dose or taking it late like in your case, but it shouldn't be a cause for panic.
I suggest you delay his next dose by 3 hours (around 10:30 PM), afterwards tomorrow continue with the previous schedule.
