When Should A Pregnancy Test Be Taken For One With Irregular Periods?

Hi, I have irregular periods. it will go till 45 days rarely. This time i had iron tablet and folic acid tablet. Doctor adviced me to take siphene 50mg for 5 days(5th day to 9th day). And we are adviced to have intercourse for ten days from 10th day to 20th day. we followed the same. Now my periods are getting delayed. right now. 5 days delay. Can you let me, whether will i be pregnant ? when can i take pregnancy test as i hv irregular periods. I got breast tenderness after ovalution and still it remains the same. pls advice

After missing your period wait for 1 week and do the urine pregnancy test with early morning urine which will give you exact result but do not worry if the test is negative and still you do not get the periods you need to repeat the test again after 5 days. Your HCG levels starts raising if you are pregnant and definitely you will have positive result. Breast tenderness you have mentioned is due to the harmonal changes taking place in your body it is also a premenstrual symptom and even in pregnant women in early stages we will have that symptom.
