When Should I Go For A Medical Test After Stopping Alcohol?
For some years now, I have been drinking a few glasses of wine or sherry every evening and more at weekends. I have now been asked to attend a medical in order to get my driving licence back and have not drunk anything for the last three weeks. How much longer do I need to go before booking my medical?
It is good to see that you have quit alcohol. Body has good capacity to wash out alcohol from the blood in presence of normal liver function. Usually at cleared from body in 2-5 days after quitting alcohol or last dose of alcohol.
As you had already quit alcohol, then you should not worry about alcohol detection during medical examination.
