When Will I Get My Normal Periods After Taking Emergency Contraceptive Pills?
i took i pill after the night(3 sep) within 48 hrs n got vaginal bleeding after 7 days,it lasted for 4-5 days n stopped. again after a week(17 sep) i had intercourse with my boyfriend n i took an ecp(my pal) even though we had used protection as i got scared.for tat month i was due to get my periods on 24th or 25ht. i got bleeding again around the same time as my normal due date.it was a very light bleeding n lasted for only 3 days. so in a month i took two ECPs and both the times i got vaginal bleeding. now am confused as when to expect my next period. is there anything to worry about?
After taking the emergency contraceptive pills you should get periods after 3 weeks but ECP may cause irregular menstruation. You can wait for one more week, but if you do not get periods you should visit a gynecologist, get clinically examined. Get blood & urine tests done to confirm pregnancy. Get it managed at the earliest.
