HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

PCOD is treated with lifestyle changes and medication.

PCOD is associated with irregular periods and increase chance of difficulty conceiving.
It is a condition also associated with insulin resistance. This means that the body is fighting its own insulin.

Lifestyle changes are mainly centered around losing any excess weight. Increased weight contributes to the condition and improved periods can occur with weight loss.

Metformin, which decreases insulin resistance is also helpful.

If you are not trying to conceive then the oral contraceptive pill would help to regularise your periods but is you are trying to conceive there are drugs that would also be very helpful.

I hope this helps
