When Will I Take 4 Tab Of Misoprostol?

I got pregnancy test positive.Last menstrual on 05 April 2015. It means 40days pregnant. Brought Mifeprin kit of sun pharma in which there was one tab. of mifepristone 200mg and four tab. of misoprostol. Took one tab of mifepristone at 11pm on15 may, but no indication of bleeding and any thing after 10 hours . when blooding will start .when will i take 4 tab of misoprostol.please help

Hi!

At the outset I advice you to consult a gynecologist for the termination of the pregnancy as the use of these medications can be harmful and they may cause severe vaginal bleeding and abdominal cramps.

These medications will be useful only if the pregnancy is intrauterine so make sure that the pregnancy is within the uterine cavity.

The kit consists of one large tablet Mifepristone to be taken at once and then after 48 hours of that take the rest of the 4 tablets of Misoprostol orally.

After taking full kit, abortion occurs anytime between 6 hours to 5 days.
But in few patients there can be an incomplete abortion or excessive vaginal bleeding and in that case you have to visit a gynecologist.

In case if bleeding does not start in next 72 hrs then you would have to repeat an ultrasound pelvis.
