When Will Symptoms Of Chlamydia Clear Up After Taking Medications?

I have taken anti-biotics for chlamydia at the same time as my boyfriend. We took them early friday morning and had sex last night so that should count as 7 days but I am still slightly worried. I am still getting some discomfort while urinating, how long before this should clear up completely?

Welcome to HCM.
Within 10 days symptoms cleared off but some times it takes time.
It depends on your immunity and effect of medication.
It also depends on partner's medication.
If both are not properly treated, re infection chances are more.
You can have sex after 10 days but if problems please avoid and consult your doctor for help.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
In order to confirm that the Chlamydia infection has cleared, the serological tests for Chlamydial antibody need to be done.
It is advisable to practice barrier method of contraception before it is confirmed that the infection has cleared completely.
Since, you are experiencing the symptoms it is likely that the infection has not cleared.
