hi cardiac catheterisation is usually done by placing the catheter in the lower limb( femoral vessels) there is no requirement of general anaesthesia, it is done under local anaesthesia. it will not be painful your hospital stay will be for only 24 hours , hoping every thing to be fine without complications take care
