You can have potatoes both boiled and fried, ripe bananas and mangoes, whole milk (with cream), nuts like peanuts, coconut and dry fruits as they are rich in fats, cheese and sago or sabudana, semolina or suji as upma or pudding. You can have soyabean as soyamilk, tofu or soya paneer, soy chunks and granules added to dishes, eggs, breads, pasta, noodles, macaroni and rice for energy and proteins. Increase intake of fats such as butter, ghee and oil. Avoid too much of fried foods as they are heavy and stay in stomach for a longer period due to delayed digestion.
