Which One Out Of Nystatin, Mupirocin And Proctosol Is For Vaginal Irritation?
my daughter was presribed a topic ointment for vaginal irritation and unfortunately i threw it in with several other topical ointments in my med box and now cant remember which one is hers. can you tell me which one of these is safe as a topical ointment fo vaginal irritation? nystatin cream, mupirocin, or proctosol?

Nystatin cream is an anti-fungal application and is used topically. The preparation is not meant for vaginal application internally. Nystatin vaginal cream can be used internally for treatment of vaginal irritation. Mupirocin is an antibiotic ointment meant as a topical application to cure bacterial infections while Proctosol is a rectal application of hydrocortisone. Hope you find this information useful.
