I have a seriously itchy pink rash, not blisters on the right upper right arm and forearm. It started after I had the flu in April. Recently it has spread out and started to tingle to the point of stinging and prickly. The itching extends to my hand, but no rash is visible. At the same time I have numbness and tingling in parts of my hand and fingers. I have attributed the tingling and being asleep to my neck in that I ve been told twice that I need surgery on my neck. The stinging and tingling has become more frequent in the past two weeks.My entire arm and hand goes to sleep at night and my hand wakes me because it feels swollen and painful. I saw this as a separate issue from the above. Not sure if it s been a precursor to the rash etc. Don t know what specialty I should see.
