Which Specialist Doctor Should Be Consulted For Pain In The Buttocks?
Hi, I have a severe pain in the muscle of my left buttock that has lasted a year or more. MRI and CT do not show the source of the problem. I have seen orthopedic doctors and neurologists but hey found no cause. What kind of specialist should I consult? Thanks!

You can consult a neurologist and get evaluated to rule out neuropathic causes like sciatica.
Once it has been ruled out and you still experience pain, you can consult a physiatrist (a doctor specialized in pain and rehabilitation) and start on symptomatic treatment.
