Hello
Welcome to Ask a Doctor service
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice
Child born with the birth defect (Schizencephaly) does not have any cure but rehabilitation is the only option, else no medicine is there for cure, symptoms of the disease only needs to be controlled with symptomatic medicines rehabilitation program will help him a lot.
Hope I have answered your query, let me know if I can assist you further.
