White Discharge, Itching And Discomfort In The Vagina. Had Yeast Infection In The Past. Is It A Recurrence?
I have been sexually active and recently discovered white discharge in my panties and an uncomfortable feeling in general around my vaginal area . I have had a yeast infection before so I figured that's what it may be. Then just yesterday I started to itch and my vagina is really red and irritable. When I urinate it burned badly.
Hello, Your symptoms of white vaginal discharge accompanied by along with redness and itching in vagina and painful urination do suggest a yeast infection but you must consult your doctor and get a vaginal swab test and urine test done for the exact diagnosis as other causes like bacterial vaginitis or Trichomoniasis can also result in similar symtoms. Once the exact cause is identified, the proper medications can be instituted. Self medication should be avoided. Thanks
