White Flecks Floating In Urine After Taking Cipro For UTI. Is This Normal?
I'm taking Cipro for prostatitis/urinary tract infection. A day into the treatment I am noticing white flecks floating in my urine. I put the urine in a clean glass and held it up to the light. Looked like a light snowfall. is this normal as the antibiotics take on the bacteria? I'm on the Cipro for a month. All kidney CBC was normal. Blood and Urine cultures positive.
Hi!. Thanks for your query. The white flakes are from the bladder and due to residual urine in bladder, and also that you are suffering from Infection. Take an opinion from Urologist and follow his advice. Take care.
