White Patch On Tongue, Started As White Bump. Started Taking Depo Shot. Allergic? Suggestions?
I have a white patch on my tongue it started off as a small white bump now it has spread in the middle of my tongue. I am 27 years old 116 pounds 5'5 with no serious medical history. I just start taking the depo shot and I am starting to think I am allergic to it because I am also seeing patches on my skin ever since I started on it
Hello, White patch on tongue may be arised due to allergic to drug administered. The lesion can be of aphthous ulcers type. I would advice you to maintain oral hygiene well. Use tongue scrapers to clean your tongue. Take plenty of fluids and nutritious rich food into your diet. Vitamin becosules,c,iron and folic acid supplements has to be administered. Avoid stress. Steroids are usually administered in such cases. Please do visit a dentist for further treatment. Hope this helps.
