White Patches On Skin. Taking Dicaris, Zoncovit, Melswift, Pacroma, Placentrex. Treatment Okay?

Hi,
I am having white patches on my skin since birth. There is no change in color , shape , size or itching since that time. There is family hereditary with this.Taking treatment since last one week. Dicaris 150 mg twice a week, Zoncovit tablet daily once, Melswift lotion every night with sun rays and Pacroma cream in morning and Placentrex cream in afternoon.Is this treatment OK?. Please suggest

Hello,

Thanks for the query.

The treatment you are taking now is for Vitiligo or Leukoderma. If that is your diagnosis the treatment is correct. Different doctors treat it differently. Treatments you are on are latest and good. The choice of treatment depends on several factors like the site , extent of lesions, activity etc. My personal opinion will be to start one or two of the above treatments together and giving it time for showing the benefit rather than starting everything together. I would have started probably with an antioxidant tablet along with Pimecrolimus or Tacrolimus topically.
