White Scars On Arms Due To Scratching Mosquito Bites. Is There Any Cream To Clear The Skin?

My arms got destroyed by mosquito bites while landscaping my house near a big pond and I was stupid enough to mainly do this n the evening & after dark which is apparently peak time for mosquitos. Instead of anti itch creams I did a lot of scratching & the result is white scars/loss of pigment on my arms. My dermatologist basically said theyr permanant, are theyr any treatments or creams that may help this disaster?
