Why I Am Not Getting Orgasm?

This is really awkward for me, but I ve always wanted help or answers or something. All my friends come and tell me how great orgasming is, and, as a girl, I envy them because I never have. I am able to get really close and enjoy my partner sexually but I never get that life changing orgasm. And trust me, I try to by myself and nothing works. Does this something might be wrong with me in the lady department or do some women just not get to climax?
