Why I Am Passing Blood Clots During Period With Bad Cramps?
I'm passing blood clots during my period. Not unusual ones, just like normal. However, they're passing past my tampon and I end up soaking through them within half an hour. Yet my flow isn't actually any heavier than usual (half the tampon is still completely white when i take it out). I'm getting really bad cramps with it too.
According to your history the measures that can help you are: - Can try high absorbency tampon - You can change to sanitary pads for few months for better absorption of clots and for better assessment for blood loss - Antispasmodics can decrease general dysmenorrhea.
If pain and passage of clots still persist, the conditions to be ruled out are, pelvic inflammatory disease, fibroids, adenomyosis etc. In that condition, better to consult your Gynecologist once, get examined and go for ultrasound. With this workup the possible cause of your problem can be identified and treatment can be taken accordingly.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
