Why Am I Bleeding Again Within One Week Of Menses?

I had my period a week ago and now have now started bleeding again but it s very light and not enough to cover a pad. I had my 6 month check up about 2 weeks ago and found out I had a yeast infection but never done anything about it. Could that be the problem?
