Hi docter...i am 39weeks pregnant and every morning i have contractions...they last for an hour sometimes two hours...its like the baby is going to come out but its goes back and goes up to my breast and it becomes hard for me to breath...what myt be the problem and what do i need to do
Hello! Thanks for your query. You do not need to worry because uterine contraction are normal in this gestational age(you are in term) These contraction are a sign that your labor is coming soon. You should need to worry and go to the hospital when: -contraction come at regular intervals and last about 30-70 seconds.As time progresses they become closer to each other -contractions continue despite movements and changing positions -contractions steadily increase in strength -contractions usually start in the lower back and move to the front of the abdomen -or when you have premature ruptures of membranes.
