Why Am I Experiencing Neck Pain While Walking And Bending?
Hi Dr. Grief, Last night I started to feel pain in my neck and chest and I dismissed it as acid reflux, but it's persisted for nearly 24 hours now. When I don't move for a while I feel okay, but once I stand up/sit down/bend over my chest feel like it is being sat on and my neck starts to throb and hurt pretty badly. Any idea what this might be? Thanks, Tim

Hello, Thanks for your query. I suspect that you are having either acute thyroiditis or acute pharyngitis, this can be differentiated by clinically examining you,and since your pain is reaching upto chest so possibility of associated chest infection should also be ruledout to avoid future complication so please consult your family doctor for further treatment. I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query. Take care
