Why Am I Having Constant Urge To Cough While Taking Remicade For Arthritis And Crohn's Disease?
I have a sudden urge to cough (not producing anything) and a rattling feeling in the right side of my back. This came on out of no where. Earlier today my ears were plugged up but better now. No other symptoms of a virus and no fever or pain except for the headache I feel coming on from coughing. Note...I am on the immunosuppressant Remicade to help manage my Crohns and arthritis. What could be the cause of this and should i be concerned?

Those who are having immuno suppressive diseases will have sicca which have features like drying of mouth and foreign body sensation in eye due to decreased secretions from eye (tears) ur cough may be because of dryness of mouth or may be due to aciidity produced byvthese drugs
The acid contents may regurgitate and it can leads to laryngopharyngeal reflux disease (LPRD) Which also usually present wih cough and foreign body sensation throat
U need to get a nasopharyngolaryngoscopy to rule out LPRD
