Why Am I Having Erratic High Blood Pressure, Lightheaded Feeling, And Breathlessness?
I am having erratic high blood pressure. I feel light headed and am having shortness of breath. I am not sure if my home blood pressure gauge is accurate. Should I go to urgent care? earlier today it was 169/90 most of this afternoon it has been 155/89 (in that area). earlier it went to 139/81 now it is 152/80

Your blood pressure values are indicative of uncontrolled high blood pressure. For this reason, I recommend consulting with your attending physician for a physical exam and some blood lab tests (complete blood count, PCR, ERS, fasting glucose, thyroid hormone levels, kidney and liver function tests, blood electrolytes, cortisol and aldosterone plasma levels), in order to exclude secondary causes underlying high blood pressure values. In the meantime, I recommend taking Captopril 25mg sublingual, in case of high blood pressure values.

Your blood pressure values are high, but not so high to go to the ER. I recommend having some rest, taking Kaptopril sublingual and a glass of lemon juice. I recommend consulting with your GP as soon as possible in order to start anti-hypertensive therapy.
