I have had a twitching in my left ear for 9 days which is very annoying, the best i can describe it as is like a muscle twitch you can get in your eye but it is in my ear. I visited the practise nurse today, no wax or obstruction and she said the ear drum looks normal.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you are having twitching in left ear which could be due to sinus infection, ear wax, eustachian tube dysfunction and post nasal drip. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order throat swab test , viral culture test , proper examination of ear and CT scan . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics at least for a week or antiviral. Doctor may clean wax from ears and also prescribe anti inflammatory. You should cover your ear while bathing , take steam , do warm saline gargles and avoid cold beverages. Avoid eating hard substance from that side.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
