I am having swallowing my morning medicine, like this morning I had trouble getting a quarter inch pill down and choked rather bad. I am also having issues getting food down. I am 57 years old and have drank a lot of beer and alcohol in my life. I am on medicine, Januvia, Irbesartan, Bisoprolol and Crestor.

Hello

Well. this is a cause of concern, specially considering your history of smoking!
Please meet your ent doctor as soon as possible as you may need to undergo an endoscopy of your throat to look for the cause for difficulty in swallowing.
Please meet him soon.
Thanks
