Why Am I Having A Sharp Stabbing Chest Pain On Left Side Behind Lower Ribs?
I have a sharp stabbing chest pain on my left side behind my lower ribs. It comes and goes a little but it is has made me stop in my tracks a couple of times this morning. It has only been happening since I woke up this morning. It seems to hurt if I breathe deeply but there is no diffreence when I push on the area

I have gone through your query.Your problem is most likely costochondritis.But it is better to rule out other conditions like ischemic cardiac cause and pleuritis by doing an ECG and X ray.For costochondritis i treat my patients with Diclofenac or nimusulide gel for local application and for some i give the tablets of the same.Hope this may help you.
