Why Am I Having Positive Result For Ovulation Test While Missing Periods For 5 Months And Negative Pregnancy Test?

Hi, I ovulated on Dec 16th 2013 with my lmp on 12-7-2013.
I've been taking a bunch of pregnancy tests since before new year with last one taken today, they have all come up negative. I am currently 4 days overdue on my period (should be noted that my cycle isn't always 28days). However I decided to also test with an ovulation stick in the same urin and it came up positive? I am very confused by this. Is this common? I am planning on waiting until 1-13-14 to see if my period starts.

Thanks for any advice or opinions.

Hi, welcome to Health care magic forum.
You had ovulation, and you didn't have confirmation of the conception. You can have the blood test for H.C.G. , and ultrasound for confirmation.
It appears that you are over anxious about pregnancy, i advise that both of you consult a gynecologist for infertility.You will be treated, with a particular plan.
