Why Am I Having Pregnancy Symptoms And Negative Pregnancy Tests?

yes, my husband and I have been trying to conceive and I had what seemed to be implantation bleeding(light brown spotting, and mild cramps for two days) plus pregnancy symptoms:tired, back aches, and food cravings. Today I took a pregnancy test it came up negative and now I have heavy bleeding with bad cramps. what should I do?

Hello,
If you have missed your normal period, please wait for 3-7 days before performing a home pregnancy test. If you wish for an earlier confirmation, you should get the serum beta-hCG titres estimated and follow it up with a trans-vaginal sonogram about a week after your missed period. Your symptoms are, indeed, suggestive of an early pregnancy, but, need to be confirmed through testing. Please take adequate rest and avoid further intercourse until the situation is clarified.
