Why Am I Having Yellow Discharge And Swollen Clitoris During 37th Week Of Pregnancy?
hi, i am currently 37 weeks pregnant, have been having yellow discharge for about a week, looks abit like snot , i have noticed since yesterday that my clitorus is swollen and tender to touch, is this an under lying infection, or part of the getting ready for labour process? had a c section on last baby so really unsure of what to expect during the different stages
A yellow discharge and swollen clitoris indicate an infection.
The tenderness also indicates the possibility of an infection. So please get an evaluation. You may need antibiotics. Meanwhile warm compresses will help ease the pain increase blood flow and help healing.
It is better to get this treated before you go in labor as any infection in the vaginal area is not good for labor.
Do not worry it will clear up in 1-2 days after treatment. Wish you a safe delivery.
Hope this was helpful. Thanks for the query. Feel free to ask more. Dr Madhuri Bagde
