Why Are My Nipples Under Developed, Inverted Itchy And Have A Clumpy Discharge?
I m 16 years old and I was quite an early developer. Now I m a DD cup (also slightly overweight) and I ve noticed my nipples haven t developed yet. They re inverted, and recently very itchy and red with flaky skin around them, and they sometimes have a sort of clumpy discharge. I m so unsure of whether it s a hormonal thing or whether I should see a doctor just incase. Any advice?
Different women have different types of nipple/areola complex. Just because your nipples are inverted does not mean they are underdeveloped.
But about the itching and flaky skin around the areolas, I would recommend you to visit your doctor as this may need some basic attention. You could also get your nipples examined at the sametime and get your doctors opinion on their development. In the meantime, please avoid scratching them and try applying a moisturizing cream in the affected region.
Hope this helps.
Best wishes.
