Why Are My Stools Runny At 37 Weeks Of Pregnancy?

37 weeks pregnant. Just went to te bathroom and noticed as I was flushing that there was a kind of brown string attached to stool. I have been going to the bathroom more frequently and my stools were kind of runny, now they are starting to get solid but are still runny texture when I wipe. Now this random string?

hi dear.

I had gone through your query.

Running stool with brown string my indicate gastroenteritis and it is due to GI flora infection.

If it is in control then no medicines require as you are pregnant.

Take fluid and electrolyte to avoid dehydration and weakness.

IF problem persist then you can consult your physician for further assistance.

Still have a query then feel free to ask.

Thank you.

Get well soon.
