Why Child Is Experiencing Mood Changes After Taking Didanosine?

My son takes didanosine as part of his cocktail. I have notice mood changes an hour or so after he takes it. He is now to our home. (adopted 3 months ago. he is 12 years old) So it may something else but I was wondering if anyone else has noticed this as a side effect.
