Why Did I Bleed After An Intercourse?

I'm worried I have an std, recently I swallowed my partners sperm and ended up with tonsillitis, I've read that it is possible to get tonsillitis from swallowing infected sperm, a few weeks later I had sexual intercourse with him for the second time although the first time was very brief,and I bled a fair bit straight after it, I also bled lightly for the following 2-3 days, it happened about 4 weeks after my last period but usually my period is irregular and the bleedding didn't seem like my period, I am only 16 and I know Im quite you're bit I am worried, if I do have an std is there any way to cure it? Thank you.

Hello, i can understand your anxiousness. One of the possible causes of your bleeding might be due to rupture of hymen (which usually occurs after 1st act of sexual intercourse), other reasons could be your menses (periods) itself or any STD (do you have any other symptoms like genital itching/any discharge/burning sensation while passing urine/fever/any other symptom). If yes, consult near by gynecologist and get yourself examined. Even if there is an STD, there are treatment options which can cure STDs. At such an precious age of 16 years, you must never take a risk. Always it is advised to use protection while having sex (Barrier method like Condom).
