Why Did My Son Feel A Piece Of Skin Coming Out After Sneezing?

My son sneezed and he thought he saw a piece of skin coming out. Is that smth I should worry about? He also has had this weird cough more like a habit that occurs mostly when he s full. So I was wondering if I need to get him to a throat doc to scope his throat.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have piece of skin coming out after sneezing. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like nasal polyp or skin tag . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order CT scan along with physical examination . Doctor may also take sample from skin tag and get tested in lab . Doctor may also order nasal endoscopy . Doctor may surgically remove the nasal polyp or skin tag , use cyrotherapy or cutting off their blood supply. For now apply warm compresses to nose and take steam several times in a days .
