Why Do I Feel Lifeless And Energy Less After Stopping Eliquis?
Yes Sir: I have A-Fib. I started taking sotalol, and eliquis on June 4th. I was taken off of eliquis on July 14th. Immediately, I started feeling lifeless, with no energy. Ten days later, I started taking eliquis that I had left over, and almost immediately, I started feeling better. Was it ok for me to start taking eliquis again? Thank you.

First of all in my opinion you should not stop and start any medicine haphazzardly without asking a doctor.And the medicines you are taking need strict precautions. As Eliquis is an anticoagulant and premature discontinuation can cause thrombotic events (haematomma in spine,brain or other organs of body,nose bleeds,eye bleeds etc),which can be life threatining emmergency.
For your symptoms of energyless and lifeless the cause can be side effects of sotalol..My suggestion would be you visit your doctor and discuss ,as sotalol can be changed to other anti fibrillation drugs for treatment.
