Why Do I Feel Like Something Stuck In My Neck?

Randomly at times, I will have something in my neck just shock me. Sometimes it s on my left side, sometimes it s on my right side. Almost like that feeling you get when you push the trigger on a shock gun. It s sudden and abrupt and it lasts less than a second, it s really fast. What could this be?

it can be laryngo pharyngeal reflux disease.
i am doing a study on LPRD, and had many patients coming with the similar complaints. a flexible nasopharyngo laryngoscopy may reveal whether its due to LPRD or not. If there are features suggestive of LPRD in NPL scopy then life style modifications and LPRD regimen treatment will solve your problem
