Hi,
Noted your short history about a feeling of loose hair stuck in
ear canal, which once happened in past too and you were lucky to get it out but failed this time.
You can try to put on a few drops of any wax dissolving
ear wax on the ear bud, tease out few cotton fibers for it to trap the hair and do the same lightly.
This may allow the hair to get trapped and may come out.
If this fails, instill the same drops, say about 15 drops to fill the ear canal in a laying on one side and try to remove by putting in the bud.
If this too fails it is better to get an opinion of an ENT Surgeon to basically rule out any other problems like
otitis externa or media which sometimes gives the same feeling.
Sometimes a full tympanic membrane give similar feeling and if the hair is present your ENT Surgeon can surely remove it.
Be careful that this does not happen again and again.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, ENT and General Surgeon
