Why Do I Feel My Heart Beating In My Throat?
I am very overweight and sometimes I feel like my is heart is beating in my throat. It makes me feel like I need to cough...and when I cough I feel better. I have had my heart checked within the past year. Shoult I be concered or is this normal?

You should get done your blood pressure, ECG and echocardiography as soon as possible. Also, get thyroid status checked. I am sure you will get a diagnosis. Till tests, stop smoking and alcohol consumption.
