Hello,

The intense abdomen pressure stretching with arms discomfort can be due to underlying heart condition with diaphragm irritation.

Additional factors of GERD as hiatus hernia or else has to be ruled out with consultant gastroenterologist.

Till that time following would help you a lot

- drink more liquids
- high fiber diet
- avoid spices and junk food kinds of stuff
- bulk-forming laxative and avoidance of constipation or straining at stool passing
- avoid smoking or alcohol if consuming
- continue current medications

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
