hi, i am a very fit 52 year old female, my query is that for the last 4 months when i do lunges or squats at the gym my left quadricep muscle swells by 5cms and feels very weak, recovery take about an hour but i find it very annoying that it limits my physical activity. I would like to understand what this is happening and why, have i torn a muscle, i have no pain just the swelling and weakness, thank you
HI Thank for asking to HCM Look mam you are almost 52 years old, in female person certain hormones plays the bigger role for later life, and not for gym purpose, of course you can do exercise but only that suits you, and best is Yoga you can only go for yoga and nothing else otherwise you will face difficulties, have nice day.
